Welcome to our beautiful 14th century historic guest house close to Lavenham, Sudbury and Bury St. Edmunds.
We are Terry and Lynette and we strive to provide a home away from home, where you and your family can enjoy the scenic surroundings of Suffolk. We decided to turn our property into a Guest House back in 2014, after retiring because we love meeting and welcoming people from all over the world. Lynette was a cook within the caring and hospitality sector whilst Terry was a packaging printer cardboard designer and founding director of Greenfield Creations.
Besides running the Guest House Lynette makes her own jams, pickles and treats, whilst Terry creates his own homemade wines. Guests are always welcome to try these tasty creations when they visit The Bridge Street Historic Guest House.
South Suffolk is a beautiful, scenic place and we want people to have a great time when they visit. There’s so much to see and do, and we’ll happily provide you with recommendations if you’re looking for great places to visit and good pubs or restaurants.
Whether you are attending a local wedding, on a business trip, or exploring the local countryside, you’ll fall in love with our cosy guest house. We have comfortable rooms, historical architecture and a real homely atmosphere. We aim to give every guest the warmest of welcomes, with, Tea, Coffee or home made wine on arrival.
So come stay with us at our Guest House in Suffolk, and see for yourself what a lovely place it is.
